Robert Lincoln

Robert Franklin Lincoln, Jr., age 76, of Point Marion, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at his home.  Born in Springhill Township on Aug. 20, 1941, he was a son of Betty (Drew) Lincoln of Point Marion, and the late Robert Lincoln, Sr.

A member of the last graduating class, of the former Point Marion High School, in 1960, he had worked in various glass plants in the Morgantown area.  Robert was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, and was proud of his 12 years of service with the U.S. Marine Corps, for which he received a number of medals and commendations.  He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 747 and the American Legion, Post 499, both of Point Marion.

In addition to his beloved mother, he is survived by daughters; Patricia Morais of Brookville, Fla., Daisy Michelle Graham and husband Raymond of Lake Lynn, Kathryn Cusumano, Sandra Cresong and Nancy Vega; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Dale (Susan) Frazee, of Point Marion; and his loving and caring companion of many years, Daisy Sanders.

He was also preceded in death   by a son, James Lincoln, and two brothers, David and Rodney Lincoln.

Friends will be received in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion,   from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., on  Sunday, April 22, and at 11 a.m. on  Monday, April 23,   for the  hour of service, with the Rev. Jack Roth officiating.  Interment follows in the Little Arlington Section of Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion, with full military honors accorded by the Point Marion veterans posts.
