County Route 7/16, Brock Mine Road closure begins Monday
The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists of a road closure on County Route 7/16, Brock Mine Road at MP 0.59.
The road will be closed from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. daily, starting Monday, April 23 until Friday, April 27. There will be no alternate routes and only local traffic will be allowed.

Reservations are required for  Visitation Day 

Trinity Christian School invites prospective families to a Visitation Day on Tuesday, May 8. The school will host open house sessions from 8:30-10:30 a.m. and from 1-2:30 p.m.
Drop in anytime during open house hours to learn more about Trinity’s Christian education program for students in preschool through 12th grade. Reservations are required for student visitations.

DOT secretary reminds candidates of advertising laws 
All political candidates and groups are reminded of the strict regulations regarding outdoor advertising.
“The law bans political signs and stickers from right of way locations especially highway shoulders, traffic signs or devices, trees, stones, fence posts and utility poles,” Secretary of Transportation Tom Smith states. Violation of these laws may result in fines.
