Mary Lou Lemley

Mary Lou Lemley, 89, of Mt. Morris, Pa., passed away April 13, 2018 with her family by her side.
She was born on August 11, 1928 in Jakes Run.  Daughter of the late Andy Pete Tennant and Audie Ellen Henderson Tennant.  She graduated from Clay Battelle High School in 1947.  Mrs. Lemley worked at Owens Illinois, Sterling Faucet, Holiday Inn, the Mt. Morris American Legion and Shoney’s.  She also day cared for several children and had a positive influence on them.  She will be missed by her friends and family.
She is survived by her son,  Robert Lemley and wife LuAnn of Mt. Morris and  a special friend Marilyn Grandison of Mt. Morris.  She raised Tabitha Statler of N.C. as her own.  She was blessed with 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by  brother,  Robert N. Tennant of Fairview, Sister,   Diane Hunnell and husband Charles of Fairview and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceeded in death by her husband of 64 years, Eugene F. Lemley; her son, Earl Andrew Lemley; two sisters, Carol Thomas and Rebecca Steele and brother, David Tennant.  Heaven is rejoicing today.
Friends will be received at the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home in Mt. Morris from  2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.  on Monday April 16.  Services will continue at 11 a.m. on Tuesday   with the Rev. John Jackson officiating.  Burialto follow at the   Olive Cemetery in  Pentress.
