APRIL 21
—4-6 p.m., spaghetti dinner, Pisgah United Methodist Church, 2718 Smith Road, Morgantown. Menu: Spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, cake or pie and beverage. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children. Carry-out available. Proceeds go toward the general fund for the church. Info: Helena 304-292-4211.
—7:30-11 a.m., pancakes and sausage breakfast, by Suncrest Area Kiwanis Club at Suncrest United Methodist Church, 479 Van Voorhis Road. Tickets from members or at the door. APRIL 25
—4-7 p.m., Kingwood Lions Club Spaghetti Dinner, at the Preston County Inn. Menu: Spaghetti, salad, bread, beverage and dessert. Cost: $9. Carry-our available. Info: Gary, 304-282-8009.

APRIL 28
—Noon-4 p.m., ramp dinner, Rowlesburg VFW. Menu: Ham and beans, meatloaf, cole slaw, biscuits, fried potatoes with or without ramps, cornbread with or without ramps, stewed ramps, fresh ramps, wilted ramp salad, desserts. Cost: $10, adults; $6, children under 12. Benefits the VFW Post 3008 and auxiliary.

MAY 6
—11 a.m.-3 p.m. (or until the food runs out), ramp dinner, Mt. Grove VFD, 1671 Slaubaugh Road, Eglon. Menu includes ramps (raw and cooked), in a unique salad, fried potatoes with or without ramps, tavern ham, beans, cornbread, drinks and desserts. All you can eat. Adults, $10; children 6-11, $5. MAY 13
—11 a.m. until food is gone, baked steak dinner, Core Community/Senior Center. Menu: Baked steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, roll, apple sauce or cole slaw, variety of cakes for dessert. Lemonade, coffee, sweetened and unsweetened tea and water to drink.
