BLACKSVILLE — Clay-Battelle softball pitcher Caitlyn Kassay threw six perfect innings, including 16 strike outs, against Notre Dame on March 26, in an 8-0 Cee-Bees’ win.

Kassay also drove in a run at the plate on a triple. Abbey Ammons and Ronda Petrucci each had two RBIs, while Madison Statler knocked in a run.

C-B (5-1) will play at 5 p.m. March 28, at South Harrison.

BaseballTRINITY 11, Beallsville (Ohio) 0: WASHINGTON, Pa. — Seth McCroskey earned the win for the Warriors on Monday, as Tucker Livengood finished things off with a shut out, at Wild Things Park.

Tristen Nine had two RBIs, while McCroskey helped his effort with an RBI of his own on a home run.

The Warriors (1-1) will plat Teays Valley Christian at Winfield High at noon March 31.

TennisMORGANTOWN — The Morgantown boys’ and girls’ tennis teams had a clean sweep of John Marshall on March 26, at Marilla Park, each taking the win, 7-0.

The Mohigans will play University at 3:30 p.m. March 27, at the Summit Tennis Academy.
