Ga. man charged for 2016 Becky’s Hot Spot robbery

KINGWOOD — A Georgia man has been charged with second-degree robbery in the 2016 robbery of Becky’s Hot Spot in Masontown.
Timothy James “Jamie” Atwood, 28, was extradited from Hiram, Ga. He was arraigned March 20 in Preston Magistrate Court and bond set at $250,000.
According to the criminal complaint by Masontown Officers M.E. Hoefler and M.D. Stemple: Atwood entered the video gaming business and demanded money from the clerk. He was wearing dark colored clothing, had a hood on his head and his hand inside a jacket pocket to give the impression he was holding a firearm. Atwood left with about $14,500.
Rebecca “Becky” Mae Davis, the owner of the business, was charged with second-degree robbery in February and is free on $250,000 bond. According to police, she was involved in the planning and execution of the robbery.
