Police respond to BB&T bank robbery in Kingwood

KINGWOOD — Preston Sheriff’s deputies and Kingwood Police are responding to a bank robbery at the Kingwood BB&T bank, on Main Street. The call came in shortly after noon March 13.
According to scanner traffic, the suspect is a male, wearing black gloves, a black scarf, black toboggan cap and a gray sweatshirt. He left the bank on foot and did not display a weapon.
This is the second robbery in Kingwood in a week. On March 6, a suspect robbed the Tobacco Barn, on East Main Street. That person is still being sought by police.
