Terra Alta man pleads guilty to burglary, battery

KINGWOOD — A Terra Alta man pleaded guilty to felony burglary and battery as part of a deferred adjudication plea Jan. 23.

Under the agreement, if Bradley Joel Anderson, 35, completes three years probation and attends anger management classes, he will be allowed to plead to trespassing.

Anderson will also be responsible for property damages and medical expenses. The agreement recommends his sentence for battery run concurrent. If Anderson does not complete the terms of the agreement he could face one to 15 years in prison on the burglary charge and 12 months in jail or $500 fine or both for battery.
