Amber Alert issued for 4-year-old Fairmont girl
West Virginia State Police issued an Amber Alert on Monday for a 4-year-old child, telling the public the child is in “extreme danger.”
The child, Gracelynn June Scritchfield, is described as a white female, 3 feet tall, weighing about 35 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing summer clothing.
She was last seen at her residence, where her father picked her up on July 6. He has not returned her and police said she is believed to be in “extreme danger.”
Police believe she may have been abducted by her biological father, Arlie Edward Hetrick III. Hetrick is a white male, 25, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds. He has brown hair, possibly long, and blue eyes. His last known address is 601 Walnut St., Monongah.
Authorities are looking for a 2001 gold Subaru Forester with a West Virginia license plate “1TH163.”
