Book Trail in gardens

Talk a walk and read a story

Newsroom@DominionPost.com

What better way to experience the beauty of autumn than by taking a walk through a beautiful garden — and reading a fun story about fall as you go?

Throughout October, the Morgantown Public Library has teamed with Direct Results to create a Book Trail at the West Virginia Botanic Garden.

Read through an entire story as you wander through the garden’s Reservoir Loop Trail — the tale will be told on signs along the way. This month’s book is “We’re Going on a Leaf Hunt” by Steve Metzger.

While you stroll, look for your own souvenirs of fall as you read a story about three friends taking a hiking adventure together, collecting leaves of many colors.

The West Virginia Botanic Garden is at 1061 Tyrone Road, Morgantown. For more information and hours, go to wvbg.org.
