MORGANTOWN — The Morgantown Police Department made six arrests over the weekend as it worked alongside the Morgantown Fire Department, West Virginia University Police and the West Virginia State Police in a coordinated effort to respond to numerous calls involving overcrowded parties, underage drinking, physical altercations and multiple injuries.
None of the reported injuries are believed to be serious or life-threatening.
Several citations were issued for open containers and underage consumption, and two large parties were dispersed without incident.
