Joseph Frank Bailey, 90, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at the Sundale Nursing Home, Morgantown, following a lengthy illness.
Born April 25, 1936 in Morgantown, he was a son of the late Joseph Howard and Geraldine Reed Bailey.
He was a skilled auto body repairman, having worked for several shops in the Morgantown area, in addition to owning and operating his own repair shop, Frank's Auto Body, for a number of years. He also owned and operated Rt. 7 Mini Mart in Dellslow, WV with his wife, and worked at Morgan Shirt Factory.
Surviving are his children, Joseph F. Bailey, Jr. and wife Patty of Westover, John E "Eddie" Bailey of Morgantown, Judith Lamonds of Las Vegas, NV, and son-in-law Larry Johnson of Morgantown; six grandchildren-Randall, Marie, Kevin, Ben, Chrissy and Brandon; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother Johnny Bailey and a half-brother, David Bailey.
His wife, Patricia Marie Wilhelm Bailey passed away on Jan. 11, 2013. Also deceased is one daughter, Nancy Susan Johnson and Son-In-Law Neill Lamonds.
Honoring his wishes, there will be no public services. Arrangements are in the care of the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, Pa.
