Colleen Haught Pierce

Colleen Haught Pierce, 91, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026, at the Sundale Rest Home, following a lengthy illness. Born in Wadestown on Jan. 24, 1935, she was a daughter of the late John P. “Zeb” and Flossie Efaw Haught.
She was a professional hairdresser, having owned shops over the years in Wadestown, Carmichaels, Pa. and Headlee Heights, Pa., as well as working at Mary Jane’s Salon in Point Marion, Pa.
Surviving are her five children and their spouses, Richard Wade (Linda) of Wana, Roger Wade (Becky) of Wadestown, Doug Wade (Jacki) of Blacksville, Deborah Jo Toothman (Vernon) of Crossroads, and Nancy Gwynn (Richard) of Eustis, Florida; 12 grandchildren and their families; a step-daughter, Mae Gill (Dave) of Jefferson, Pa.; one sister, Judy Tucker (Jack) of McCurdesville; and two brothers, Jim Haught of Crossroads, and Isaac Haught of Florida.
Friends will be received in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, on Friday 6 to 8 p.m.. A brief funeral service will begin at 8 p.m., with Pastor Kathy Griffith officiating. Private interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion.
Her family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Sundale and Amedisys Hospice for the loving care shown to Colleen during her illness.
