MORGANTOWN – At about 6 a.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to a four-vehicle collision on I-68 Westbound at mile marker 10 (Cheat Lake Bridge).
The accident began when a Jeep lost control and struck the median, causing traffic to slow abruptly. A dump truck then collided with two of the slowing vehicles.
Two individuals were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Assisting agencies included Mon EMS, Brookhaven Fire Department, and the DOT. I-68 in the area of the accident is now open and no further information is available at this time.
