Through the first four days of early voting, 1,260 Monongalia County residents made it to the polls.
The daily totals through Saturday provided by Monongalia County Clerk Carye Blaney were: 4/29 – 234; 4/30 – 278; 5/1 – 344; 5/2 – 404.
Nearing the midway mark, early voting numbers appear to be off the pace of the two previous midterm primary elections, which saw 4,343 and 4,433 take advantage of early voting in 2018 and 2022, respectively.
The 10-day early voting period continues from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. through Saturday in two Monongalia County locations:
Mountaineer Mall – 5000 Green Bag Road (access from parking lot in front of Mylan and Anybody Fitness)
Mason-Dixon Historical Park – 79 Buckeye Road, Core (in the red barn).
