Charles Franklyn “Chucky” Johnson, Jr., 62, of Hagans, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026 at WVU Medicine – JW Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown after a brief illness.
Chucky was born on June 4, 1963, in Morgantown, a son of Billie Fay George Bicanich and her husband, his step-father Chuck; and the late Charles Franklyn Johnson, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Johnson of Hagans; two daughters, Sarah Johnson of Fairmont and Melissa Johnson of Westover; three grandchildren: Izaiah, Joell and Izaac; his siblings: Tammy Ridenour and her husband, Will of Morgantown, Frank Johnson and his wife, Karin of Morgantown, and Susan Queen and her husband, Todd of Bridgeport; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
