‘I voted’ sticker: The hottest new accessory

Are you a trendsetter? Like to be on the cutting edge of fashion? Need to have it before everyone else does? Well, you’re in luck. Go vote today through Oct. 31 and you can get your “I voted” sticker before the masses crowd the polling places on Nov. 3. Proudly displaying your “I voted” sticker proclaims your patriotism and says, “I take my civic responsibilities seriously.” Hit up that early voting and you can rock this season’s hottest accessory before Election Day arrives.

All sales pitches and exaggerated enthusiasm aside, please do take advantage of the opportunity to vote early. As we saw with the primary, early voting locations tend to be less crowded than polling places on Nov. 3. There are multiple early voting venues throughout Mon and Preston counties. The Voter’s Guide (released Sunday and available online) lists early voting locations as well as the polling place for each precinct. Make sure to follow health and safety guidelines if you vote in person: Wear a mask, social distance and use hand sanitizer.

This is also a good time to fill out and mail in your absentee ballot, if you have one. We know our postal workers are doing everything they can, but we also know that changes made over the summer may cause some delays, so get your absentee ballots in the mail as soon as possible.

Most importantly, regardless of how you choose to do it, please vote.
