Taste of Morgantown returns for the 14th year, but this time it’s heading to  Hazel & J.W. Ruby Community Center at Mylan Park.  The event is set for  Sunday and vendors  will include Monarca Taqueria, Rising Creek, Tutto Gelato, Mama K’s Kitchen, Bourbon Prime, The Wine Bar at Vinter Valley, Ruchi Priya Indian Kitchen and The Cupcakerie Cafe & Frose.   At least nine others will also be in the lineup.  The American Red Cross and related local services receive proceeds from the event. Registration deadline is Tuesday for MAA’s October watercolor workshop

Morgantown Art Association will conduct a watercolor workshop from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 3-6 at the gallery  next to Animal Friends Thrift Shoppe at the Mountaineer Mall on Green Bag Road.  The deadline for registration is Tuesday.  Nationally known painter Mick McAndrews will be the instructor.  Seating is limited, but there are still a few openings.
