Richard Dale Wiles

Richard Dale Wiles, of Fremont, Calif., passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at the age of 79. He was born in Morgantown to Lawrence and Anabelle Wiles August 1, 1946. Richard grew up in Morgantown as part of a large family of six siblings, three boys and three girls. He moved to Fremont in December of 2021 with his wife, Sue Cox.
Richard is survived by his wife, Sue Cox; and sister, Margaret Anne Walden.
He was preceded in death by his companion of many years, Marge Pollock; his parents, Lawrence and Anabella Wiles; brothers, William Frank Wiles and wife Malise (“Pixie”), Robert Lawrence Wiles and wife Nancy; and sisters, Betty Jane Province and husband Charles (“Buck”), and Priscilla Alice Walden.
