Debra Sue Watkins, 70, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026, in her residence after a long illness.
Debra was born May 1, 1955, in Painesville, Ohio, to parents Lonnie and Ann Burkhammer Watkins.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Watkins, at home; two sisters, Sandra Ford and Becky Baker; four brothers, Paul, Bart, Bert and Donald Watkins; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dana Skidmore; her daughter, Heather Skidmore; two brothers, Larry and Steve Watkins; and two sisters, Pam Watkins and Nancy Hillen.
Debra was a hard- working lady and always made sure that her family was well taken care of. She loved visiting the coast of Maine and seeing lighthouses. She also crocheted and enjoyed vegetable gardening and sharing what she grew with her friends and community.
At Debra’s request, no services are being held.
