Betty May Dumire, a devoted wife, beloved family member, and cherished community figure, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 17, 2026, in Madison Center in her hometown of Morgantown.
Born January 6, 1940, in the same spirited town, Betty’s life was a testament to her faith- filled character, which guided her through her 86 years.
Friends and family are invited to honor and celebrate the life of Betty May Dumire in McCulla Funeral Home Tuesday, March 24, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., when a service commemorating Betty’s journey on this earth will begin, with Pastor Jim Cooley officiating.
She will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, leaving behind a treasure trove of memories and love that will continue to bloom in the hearts she touched.
