Shirley B. Hough, 90, of Cheat Neck, Morgantown, passed away in her home Monday, March 2, 2026, surrounded by family.
Shirley was born April 2, 1935, to the late Milford “Dutch” and Hazel Spacht.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, A. Wayne Hough; and two sisters, Dorothy “Pete” Myers and Sarah “Flame” Woods; and a son, Timothy Kisner.

She had a smile for everybody. Shirley was late in getting to the workforce but thoroughly enjoyed the 30 years she worked at Montgomery Ward, and after a brief retirement, went back to work for 10 years in the Circuit Clerk’s Office.
Shirley is survived by her children: son, Terry Kisner; daughter, Cathy Golleher; and son, Kevin Kisner and daughter-in- law Katie; along with four grandchildren, Shayne Allen (Kelly), Chad Kisner (Holly), Cortney Kisner, and Nathan Kisner; together with four great- grandchildren, Hudson Allen, Kaeson, Eliza, and Maya Kisner. In addition, she has two remaining sisters, Arlene Ryan and Carol “Kay” Dean; and many nieces and nephews.
Shirley will be cremated, followed by a private family gathering at Fletcher’s Cemetery in Cheat Neck.
