Connie Jo McCarty- Johns, 48, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully in WVU Medicine – J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital Friday, January 30, 2026.
Friends may join the family to honor Connie’s life and legacy in Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Avenue, Westover (304-292-9494), Sunday, February 1, from 4 to 7 p.m., and again Monday, February 2, from 11 a.m. until 12 noon, at which time Catholic Funeral Rites will be offered by her cousin, Father Andy Switzer. Following the funeral service, Connie will be laid to rest at the Pisgah Cemetery on Smithtown Road.
