Eugene Kenneth Claypole Jr., 58, of Miracle Run Community, Fairview, died Monday, Sept. 5, 2022, at his residence.
He was born May 21, 1964, in Cleveland, a son of Eugene K. Claypole and Leota Lorraine Wilson Claypole, of Morgantown.
Eugene had worked as a truck driver. He was Methodist by faith.
Surviving is his wife, Layonna Nestic Claypole; two sons, Daniel Jones, of Shepherdstown, and Chris Jones, of Rogersville, Pa.; one daughter, Raina Rush, of Wana; one brother, David Claypole, of Atlanta; two sisters, Deborah Claypole Weaver and Michelle Claypole, both of Morgantown; eight nieces and nephews; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Claypole.
Eugene will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville is in charge of arrangements.
