Gail F. Freeland, 79, of Wana, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2022 in J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born Jan. 12, 1943, at Burton, a son of the late Earl Freeland and Hazel Bartrug Freeland.
Mr. Freeland was a retired electrician. He had worked for Accurate Forging in Brave, Pa. for over 34 years.
Surviving is one son, Randy Freeland and his wife Debbie, of Wana; one daughter, Rita Freeland, of Fairmont; two step-grandchildren, Donna Flint, of Morgantown, and Benjamin Miller, of Blacksville; three grandchildren, Dustin, Haley and Christopher; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Freeland; two sisters, Doris June Mahaffey and Arlene Carol Freeland, who died as an infant; and one grandson, Steven Freeland.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 28. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1, with the Rev. Rose Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in Cunningham Memorial Gardens in Burton.
