
Charles Roy Wolfe, 85, of Bruceton Mills, Clifton Mills community, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, at his home.
The son of the late Carl C. Wolfe Sr., and Anna Belle Harford Wolfe, he was born Sept. 20, 1936, in Uniontown, Pa.
He was a member of the Clifton Mills Church and West Virginia Draft Horse Association and enjoyed raising, working and training work horses. He enjoyed going to stock sales and frequently having breakfast with friends at Little Sandy’s Truck Stop. His family was especially important to him.
Charles is survived by his wife, Sandra Faye Wolfe; three daughters and their spouses, Linda and Howard Lewis, of Bruceton Mills, Sheila and Roger Griffin, of Virginia Beach, Va., and Shelda and Dana Wotring, of Bruceton Mills; a son and his wife, Chuck and Kelli Wolfe, of Virginia Beach, Va.; two brothers and their spouses, Harry and Linda Wolfe and Jim and Susie Wolfe, of Bruceton Mills; a sister-in-law, Twyla Wolfe, of Bruceton Mills; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Clair Wolfe Jr., and son-in-law, Keith Cuppett.
Due to the increased prevalence of the COVID virus, a public visitation will be held at the Pretzel Arena on the Moyers Road, Bruceton Mills, from 1 p.m. until the 4 p.m. funeral service on Sunday, Oct. 24, with Pastor Michael Bernard officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery, Bruceton Mills.
Those in attendance are requested to wear masks and practice social distancing.
The Carl R. Spear Funeral Home of Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, will be assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
