Surrounded by her children and the love of her family, extended family and friends, Bonnie Joann Ronk passed away on Saturday Jan. 30, 2021.
Joann was born April 6, 1936 to parents Everett and Flora Graves, of Fairview. She has been a resident of the Jakes Run community for 48 years.
Joann was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Norbert Ronk Jr., and her grandson, Charles Steven Self Jr.

Joann, in her younger life, wore many hats. She had been a beautician, bookkeeper, nursing assistant and a country store owner. She always liked traveling with her husband. She loved cooking and baking and her cinnamon rolls, graham cracker pie and nut rolls were favorites of everyone who knew her. She was a very proud Mother and Nan and was always happiest when she had all of her children and their families under one roof.
Joann is survived by her daughter, Tamara (Steve) Self, of Morgantown; son, Norbert Ronk III, of Crandall, Texas; and son, Todd (Vernita) Ronk, of Carrollton, Va.
