Mon Health Medical Center recently collaborated with Rotary of Morgantown to collect housewarming kits for Christian Help in Morgantown.
Over the course of six weeks, Mon Health Medical Center staff, Rotary of Morgantown members and community members donated household supplies to
assist those addressing disaster recovery, transitioning from former incarceration, unsheltered or domestic
violence situations, alcohol/substance use disorder recovery programs and foster care to independent living situations.
The collection was a success and Mon Health Medical Center was able to donate several large containers of items to Christian Help.
“The items provided by Mon Health Medical Center will help populations at risk in need of independent living relocation,” said Colleen Lankford, executive director of Christian Help. “I am always amazed at what a giving community we have, and I’d like to extend my thanks to all who donated.”
