Rosalie Liston, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019, in Wadsworth. Born May 12, 1929, in Morgantown, to the late Mr. Omer Courtney Williams and Mrs. Dean (Griffith) Williams, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church, Wadsworth Welcome Wagon and the Bridge Club.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald F. Liston; three sons, James W. (Nancy) Liston, Steven (Laurie) Liston, Jay Liston; six grandchildren, Allison, Laura, Deanna, Jacob, Jesse and Hope; 10 great-grandchildren; and one brother, William Williams.
Services will be held at at the First United Methodist Church, 195 Broad St, Wadsworth, Ohio, from 10 a.m. on Monday, March 4, until 11 a.m. when services will be held.
Services will also be held at the Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, from 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, until 2 p.m. when the service will follow with Pastor Nathan Barker from Victory Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, near Morgantown.
In lieu of other flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Wadsworth OH.
