Truck forced off road, up guy wire on W.Va. 7; woman charged

MASONTOWN — A woman involved in an accident that left a truck nearly vertical on a guy wire Wednesday faces  a felony charge related to her vehicle registration.
Celina Dawn Sansone, 34, of Morgantown, is charged with forgery. Her bond was set at $30,000.
According to the criminal complaint by Preston Sheriff’s Cpl. C.R. Cline, he stopped her after she fled the accident on W.Va. 7. A  records check revealed  the registration  displayed on her vehicle expired in 2016 but it was bearing a 2019 sticker that appeared to have been cut off another plate.
According to Preston Sheriff’s Capt. J.H. Bryan, the investigation revealed that when Sansone slowed to turn onto Burke Road, her vehicle lacked tail lights or brake lights. A 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup behind her slid,  ran off the road and up a guy wire. The driver was not injured.
