PHILIPPI — Samantha Davis scored the game-winning goal with 25 seconds remaining Monday night to lead the Preston girls’ soccer team to a 3-2 victory against Phillip Barbour.
Megan Noss assisted on the winning play and also scored two goals for the Knights (1-0).
Kendra Bolinger and Rachel Barlow also had assists and goalkeeper Kinley Manko recorded seven saves.
Preston will travel to University, at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

BRIDGEPORT — MHS goals were scored by Irene Belda with an assist from Anna Iquinto and on a penalty kick from Sammie Brown.
Mohigans goalkeeper Jordan August had five saves.
