MORGANTOWN — A resolution declaring Feb. 5-9 National School Counseling Week was read at the most recent Monongalia County Board of Education meeting.
“Counselors have a lot to do, it’s important work and we’re very proud of the counselors we have in our system,” Barbara Parsons, board president, said.
School counselors provide students with academic, career and emotional support, Courtney Whitehead, director of assessment, accountability and school counseling said.
