Richard Allen “Hoot” Gibson, 62, of Cheat Lake, died in his home Saturday, October 18, 2025, surrounded by family.
Friends will gather at Fred Jenkins Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, and again Thursday, October 23, from 10 until the time of service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery, Cheat Lake.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made, in Richard’s memory, to the Hoss Foundation, P.O. Box 327, Dellslow, WV 26531.
