Dennis Eugene Rowan, affectionately known as Mouse, 77, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025. Born to the late Dennis Charles Rowan and Florence Siebel Rowan September 15, 1947, Dennis was a lifelong resident of Morgantown, where he touched the hearts of all who knew him.
Dennis spent many years applying his skills as a proud welder at Petitto Mine Equipment. His work was not just a job, but a craft he honed with dedication and precision. Dennis’s passion for his trade was paralleled by his love for The Beatles and taking bus tours.
Family gatherings were brightened considerably by Dennis’s presence. He leaves behind a brother-in-law, Edward Samson.
A beloved uncle, he will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great- nephews, who will miss his guidance and the stories he shared.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Dolores, Donna, Gloria, Shirley, Robert, and Russell.
Dennis enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He was a fixture at the billiard tables, a place where friendships
were forged and laughter was abundant.
In the Granville Community, Dennis’s commitment and involvement made him a respected figure, and his absence will leave a tangible void.
Friends are invited to gather in McCulla Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 20, and again Friday, March 21, from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service time. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery.
