We celebrate the life of Alice Fae Arnett Jones, who passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the age of 84, in Sundale Nursing Home.
Alice was born May 28, 1940, the oldest child of Vance and Sara Arnett, and is survived by her brothers, sisters and their families.
She was a graduate of Morgantown High School Class of 1958. She filled her life with the roles of a homemaker and a caregiver.
Alice was a beloved wife to her late husband, Robert Owen Jones, and together they cherished family. Her family included her son, Russel Vance Jones, his wife, Susan Jones, and her daughter, Crystal Renee Nantz and husband Erik Nantz. Her cherished grandchildren include: Sara Noel Wood and husband Graham Wood; Payton Jones and wife Sarah Jones; and Jocelyn Jones. The twinkle in Alice’s eye was her great-granddaughter, Finley Jean Wood.
Alice’s life was marked by her involvement in various associations such as the Shriner’s organization, Rock Lake, Beta Sigma Phi and as a band chaperone. She loved crafts and sewing. Those who knew Alice will remember her for the love she so freely gave and her quick wit.
Find solace in the truth that Alice is in her Savior’s arms – eternally freed from Alzheimer’s.

All are invited to attend a celebration of her life Sunday, November 24, in Goshen Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 3 until the service at 4 p.m., followed by a meal supplied by friends in the church.
