MORGANTOWN — The family of the WVU student who fell down the stairs at a fraternity house more than a week ago asked J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital officials not to release condition updates. WVU senior David Rusko fell down the stairs at Sigma Alpha Epsilon’s WVU chapter house Nov. 10. Other students present waited more than two hours to call 911. Man found dead on Lakeview’s 17th hole; appears to be suicide

MORGANTOWN — Police responded to an apparent suicide at Lakeview Golf Resort’s 17th hole Monday morning. The man seems to have hung himself early Monday morning, Chief Deputy Al Kisner of the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department, said. He said the man did not seem like he had been there long. The Dominion Post does not typically name suicide victims. He said deputies were called to the area about 6:50 a.m. after a woman walking her dog discovered the body.
