MORGANTOWN — Police responded to an apparent suicide at Lakeview Golf Resort’s 17th hole Monday morning.
The man seems to have hung himself early Monday morning, Chief Deputy Al Kisner of the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department, said. He said the man did not seem like he had been there long.
The Dominion Post does not typically name suicide victims.
He said deputies were called to the area about 6:50 a.m. after a woman walking her dog discovered the body.
