A 38-year-old man committed suicide just around midnight Saturday on High Street. The Morgantown Police Department responded to a disturbance, initially reported as a fight, at about 12:15 a.m. Saturday, according to Communications Director Andrew Stacy. When officers arrived, they found a man had committed suicide with a firearm inside his vehicle, Stacy said. The man’s death is being investigated, Stacy said. Two men accused of killing a West Virginia University student and a Masontown man accused of shooting another man in the face are among the 79 indictments returned by the June 2020 Monongalia County grand jury.
