Police investigate shooting; man injured

At about 2:30 p.m. Thursday, officers of the Morgantown Police Department responded 

to a call of a gunshot wound at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Officers found that the victim, a 19 year old male from Morgantown, had been shot in the chest once and sustained a non-life threatening injury. 

He was taken to the hospital by a personal vehicle and first responders were not notified. Officers were able to determine that the shooting occurred on Arlington Street. The incident is under investigation.
