Nashville singer-songwriter makes stop at The Village

The Village at Heritage Point held a special concert starring Nashville singer-songwriter, Kevin Major, earlier this month.  Major originally hails from Morgantown,  but moved 25 year ago to Nashville, Tenn., to hone his skills. Preston County History Day has free tours of eight historical sites

KINGWOOD — Are you a history fan? Twelfth Annual Golf FORE Life Tournament a success

Twenty-seven teams participated in West Virginians for Life’s 12th Annual Golf FORE Life Tournament  July 13  at the Preston Country Club in Kingwood.  Winners of the challenges were Dave Sanders (Closest to the Pin), Chris Alasky (Longest Putt) and Rocky Starkey (Longest Drive).
