Nexus to perform Saturday at The Encore   Nexus, a Grateful Dead tribute band, has been around north-central West Virginia for a while. Bruce Kimmel, a Lewis County resident born and raised in Brooklyn, remembers being asked to join in the mid-1980s, and Craig Seth, of Ritchie County, signed on soon after.   The group, which now includes Erik Yoder on guitar and vocals and Jeff Fedan on drums, both of Morgantown, comes for another show at The Encore at 8 p.m. Saturday. Y2K Trivia Night to benefit Monongalia County Child Advocacy Center

The Monongalia County Child Advocacy Center (MCCAC) will host  a  Y2K-themed trivia night June 13 at Chestnut Beer Hall. The evening  will feature trivia questions on topics from the early 2000s.   Teams of three to five people are encouraged to register in advance, as space is limited to 15 teams  for competition.
