Pa. man charged in ATV accident

KINGWOOD — A Pennsylvania man was charged with felony DUI with injury after allegedly leaving the scene of an ATV accident in which two people were injured. Police said Richard Dwight Walkos Jr., 35, of Uledi, Pa., told them he started drinking after the accident.  According to the criminal complaint by State Police Trooper C.E. Couple suing town for damages

Dispute over tree crashing onto house, car, other property KINGWOOD — A Rowlesburg couple is suing the town for damages done when a tree fell from the town’s property onto theirs. In its reply, the town “admits trees located on its property fell onto plaintiffs’ property” but denies the town is at fault, saying “plaintiffs’ claims are barred by an intervening or superseding cause ... or act of God.” Jim and Barb Darlington, of Spring Street, Rowlesburg, filed the suit in Preston County Circuit Court. Judges Scudiere and Tucker will resume in-person hearings

Chief Judge Debra Scudiere and Judge Susan Tucker will resume in-person hearings once their already set dockets are clear.Scudiere said her docket is already set for the next few weeks with most being handled by telephone or video conference.After that, there's no set time or big opening planned, Scudiere said.
