Three local organizations awarded CALT grant

The Scotts Run Settlement House, The Shack and the Scotts Run Museum and Trail announced that their partnership proposal was awarded the Mid Atlantic Arts Central Appalachia Living Traditions (CALT) grant for West Virginia. Ribbon-cutting to celebrate new recovery facility

A ribbon-cutting celebration with food trucks and games will give area residents an opportunity to see the new Friendship Community in Recovery facility. Quota Club launches shoe drive

Quota Club of Morgantown is conducting a shoe drive fundraiser through June 15 to raise funds for community projects. The Quota Club of Morgantown was established in 1926. The Quota Club will earn funds based on the total weight of the pairs of gently worn, used and new shoes collected, as Funds2Orgs will issue a check for the collected shoes. Those dollars will benefit women, children, the deaf and hard-of-hearing and people with speech difficulties.
