National Equipment Co. has announced a second brick and mortar location opening in Morgantown, at 2500 Northpointe Plaza off of U.S. 119 near the Morgantown Airport and Mileground.
National Equipment is a locally owned business based out of Wheeling that sells equipment and supplies to the food service industry. The business spans the tri-state region and offers both professional sales and service to its customer base.
This opening presents a new opportunity for both Morgantown operators and the general public to shop locally for quality commercial grade equipment and supplies. The showroom will feature items from many categories, both front and back of house, including: equipment; furniture; stainless steel products; china; flatware; tabletops; bar- and glassware; baking supplies; pizza supplies; food storage; shelving; disposables; food transport; and food safety and janitorial supplies. The location offers customers the ability to see live demonstrations and interact with the equipment before making a purchase decision.
Jade Waligura, National Equipment President, said the owners are beyond excited to formally announce the opening of their second location.
“We started planning the expansion pre-COVID and have overcome many challenges to get to this point,” Waligura said. “We have been servicing the region for many years and are glad to now be able to call the area home, with a permanent location and further service the local culinary community.”
National Equipment vice president Mike Swann echoed Waligura’s sentiments.
“We are extremely pleased to open the new Morgantown location. The business has spanned more than three generations of family and we are very proud of our history. The reception from our customers in the area has been fantastic and we are excited to begin this new chapter of National Equipment.”
The Morgantown showroom is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. National Equipment offers free local delivery on supply purchases. Other services offered are delivery and installation of new equipment by certified field service technicians and daily service calls Monday through Friday.
National Equipment will host a grand opening celebration the week of June 26, with a ribbon cutting ceremony set for 2 p.m., June 27. Customers will enjoy discounts and promotions on both supplies and equipment, live demonstrations, food trucks, samples, giveaways and more for the entire week.
