Yvonne was born in Parsons May 22, 1935, to Moffett and Dessie Baker Beery.She graduated from Parsons High School, where she was head cheerleader. Leo Horacek, 107, of Morgantown, died Thursday, July 16, 2026 in Moundsville, W.Va.He was born April 21, 1919 in Topeka, Kans., the son of Leo and Clara Miller Horacek.As a teenager he played trumpet in the Topeka High School Band and Orchestra and in Marshall’s Band of Topeka.
