MCHD administers 1,000 free COVID-19 tests; all results negative

The results are in with good news: Of the 1,000 free COVID-19 tests administered last weekend by Monongalia County Health Department and the West Virginia National Guard all came back negative.“We are happy that a variety of individuals came out for free testing and we are happy to report this outcome,” said Dr. Lee B. City sued by real estate company for destroying property

A real estate company is suing the City of Morgantown for destroying some of its property while installing a new drainage system in an alleyway between Beverly and Grant avenues.The suit was filed by Roman Realty LLC and requests the court order Morgantown to start eminent domain proceedings to determine the value of the damages and then compensate the company for them. Mon Health System said it is joining Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Health Network’s clinically integrated network group purchasing organization to secure better pricing and sourcing of medical supplies.
