On May 26 at the Historic Rowlesburg School, Szilagyi Center, JoAnn F. Peterson will bring history to life in a first-person portrayal of Founding Mother Abigail Adams. Night of Comedy presented by WVPT Saturday

West Virginia Public Theatre presents “A Night of Comedy” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Holiday Inn and Suites on Pineview Drive in Morgantown. The comedy show will feature three renowned comedians: Joe Zimmerman, Kasha Patel and Bryan Morton. When I was growing up, I didn’t think I wanted kids. I never particularly liked babysitting and I wasn’t someone that kids were naturally drawn to, so it seemed to me that I wasn’t really cut out for motherhood. Tommy Thompson III is one of those fresh new talents. The son of local restaurateurs Tasia and Tommy Thompson Jr., the younger Tommy has asserted himself as an engaging and creative singer-songwriter.
