Thomas Graham “Tom” Deuesenberry, 79, of Morgantiown, passed away Tuesday morning, May 12, 2026 at his home after a long illness.
Tom was born January 22, 1947 in Morgantown, a son of the late George and Sarah Graham Deuesenberry.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years Edys Deuesenberry whom he married April 16, 1965; three children, Jeff and wife Tina, Marcy and husband Tom, and Greg and wife Tracy; five grandchildren, Joey, Collyn, Graham, Kaylee, and Blake; four great-grandchildren, Jasmin, Braxton, Sadie, Xavier, and Gracie; three siblings, Don and wife Karen, Connie, and Dollie and husband Dan; his faithful dog, Billie who rarely left his side, and his cat Jake.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Sugar, Arthur, and Grace.
Tom was a very avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting and gardening. When his garden produced, no one was allowed to have any of the tomatoes until he got to enjoy his first ripe tomato. He also enjoyed watching stock car and NASCAR races.
His family and friends will remember him simply as a great man who was very wise, could be a jack of all trades, and who loved his family more than anything.
At Tom’s request there will be no visitation or services.
