Shirley Lee Wolfe Stone, 90, of Kingwood, WV, passed away Monday, April 20, 2026, at Morgantown Healthcare Center in Morgantown.
She was born in Irona, WV on November 4, 1935, a daughter of the late Ned E. and Genevieve M. Mongold Wolfe.
Shirley was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was always working with her hands; quilting, sewing and gardening were some of her favorite things to do. She also loved to go shopping and taking photos, capturing the beautiful moments of life. She enjoyed working on family genealogy but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Anita Moyer and husband, Steven of Kingwood; two sons, Tim Stone and wife, Cindy of Points, WV and Mike Stone and wife Karen of Kingwood; 11 grandchildren, Chris, Matthew, Stephanie, Sara, Adam, Tyler, Heather, Nick, Erica, Berenice and Caleb and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard T. Stone; two sisters, Norma Everly and Janet Thorn and five brothers, Walter Gribble, Frank Wolfe, Ray Wolfe, Rex Wolfe and Pat Wolfe.
Friends and family may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. time of service with Rev. Dr. David Spence officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
