Every step Chris Gray runs is a reminder of just how far he’s come. It didn’t start out that way, it rarely does for amateur distance runners. In truth, Gray’s venture into marathon running starts out like many others, which is to say the 1995 WVU graduate was approaching 40 and wanted to stay in shape.
